BIOGRAPHY

Davide Bacco is the Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Florence and the co-founder of QTI s.r.l., the first Italian company dedicated to quantum communication systems. He has also held a research position at the Technical University of Denmark, where he focused on electronics and photonics engineering.

Davide’s work centres on quantum communications, quantum cryptography, and integrated photonics. At QTI, he contributes to advancing secure data transfer by transforming leading-edge research into practical commercial technologies.
