Jay Jayakumar is an Asset Specialist at TenneT, focusing on subsea cables and long-term asset strategies. With more than 20 years of experience, he has worked across offshore operations, scientific research, and energy-sector asset management.

Jay began his career in offshore oil and gas, spending over a decade at sea in the Norwegian sector before moving into applied research to develop low-TRL technological solutions. His current work centres on data-driven approaches to improve maintenance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
